Peanut Butter & Banana English Muffin

  • 1 small banana, divided
  • 1/4 cup Grape-Nuts Cereal
  • 1 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 whole wheat English muffin, split, toasted
  • 1 tsp. raisins


  1. Cut off 1/4 of the banana; set aside for later use. Mash remaining banana in small bowl. Add cereal and peanut butter; mix until well blended.
  2. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly onto muffin halves.
  3. Slice remaining banana; arrange on muffin halves. Sprinkle evenly with the raisins.

Tips and Suggestions

Serving Suggestion: Serve with a cup of cold fat-free milk or 6-oz. container of your favorite low-fat yogurt.

Substitute: Substitute a few strawberry slices for the banana slices.
