Tips and Suggestions

AHA!: Serve these colorful glazed squash rings on a white serving platter.

AHA!: Pecans take the place of butter in this lovely fall vegetable dish.

Make it Easy: To soften the squash before cutting into rings, pierce squash in several places with sharp knife, then microwave on HIGH 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly softened.

Note: Cutting the squash into rings shortens the baking time and makes the squash easier to serve.

Nutrition Bonus: Take advantage of the abundance of squash when in season and prepare this flavorful side dish. The squash is a good source of both dietary fiber and vitamin C.
