Crunchy Cereal Squares

Makes: 8 servings


  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups Post Honeycomb Cereal
  • 1-1/2 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts


  1. Mix syrup, peanut butter and sugar in large microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until mixture comes to boil.
  2. Add cereal, popcorn and peanuts; mix well. Press firmly into greased 8-inch square pan. Cool completely.
  3. Cut into 16 squares to serve. Makes 8 servings, 2 squares each.

Tips and Suggestions

Substitute: Prepare as directed, substituting honey for the corn syrup.

Variation - Crunchy Cereal Balls: Prepare cereal mixture as directed; cool slightly. Shape into 16 balls with moistened hands. Cool completely. Makes 8 servings, 2 balls each.
