The Pebbles Story: A Rockin’ Breakfast for Generations
Introduced in 1970, Pebbles cereal has been a family favorite for more than 40 years.
Pebbles rocks kids’ worlds with an array of fun characters, textures and flavors that are sure to be written down in breakfast history. From Fruity to Cocoa to special limited editions, the various Pebbles cereals have eye-popping colors, delicious high-impact flavors, the loveable crunch of crispy rice and a pre-historic adventure in every box.
With original working names of Flint Chips and Rubble Stones, Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles were born as a reintroduction of Post’s Sugar Rice Krinkles when the brand secured licensing rights to THE FLINTSTONES from Hanna-Barbera. The popular animated TV series aired from 1960-1966 and since then has been brought back in countless specials and feature films. Pebbles, the name of Fred and Wilma’s precocious daughter, was the first brand to ever be created around a media character, and THE FLINTSTONES gang are still happily the spokestoons for the brand today.
